If I’m honest, I’m not sure what the protocol is for blogging about a story that has absolutely no bearing in any way whatsoever on British phone users, other than it involving the phrase “there’s no point in doing this blog post, it is of no use to anyone in Britain, why are you doing it?”
However, this particular story is so mind-boggling (in a good way), that I couldn’t not talk about it. Basically, according to IntoMobile, an American network have singlehandedly trumped every other BOGOF offer in history, by offering a BOGFF. And in case you were wondering, that stands for Buy One Get FIVE Free.
Sweet. Muthaluvin’. Jeebus…
I’m flabbergasted; I have never seen a deal like that, anywhere, ever. To put it in perspective, if it was translated over to “phones us Brits can actually buy”, then it’d be like us buying a Samsung Galaxy S, and getting an LG Optimus One, for nowt. And then getting four more LGs, also for nowt, until you’ve got smartphones coming out of your ears.
Gott im himmel, that deal is so good, I have to exclaim in German!
And yes, anybody who’s right now calling me out on this, and saying I’m only blogging about this because I’m intensely jealous, has it bang on the money…
